THE Coronavirus pandemic has created an unprecedented situation round the world with states struggling to curb the spread of infection and treat the already infected people. The impact of this pandemic is even higher within the South-East Asian Region where spending per capita on health is extremely low. an equivalent is true for India, with a further attribute of being the highest Asian country in terms of the spread of Coronavirus infection. a bit like every crisis, the marginalized communities are suffering aggravated hardships. this is often not just in terms of risk of infection, but also in their inability to deal with preventive measures that are implemented by the govt .

To curb the spread of Covid-19 most educational institutions were the primary ones to be pack up in mid of March. It’s still difficult to predict when schools, colleges, and universities will reopen and performance normally. Administrations have shifted themselves to digital platforms for classroom learning and, as per directions of UGC, the system has got to row forward with virtual lectures and digital libraries. However, due to the hasty nature of such decisions and therefore the lack of proper digital infrastructure, both teachers and students face a plethora of difficulties.

COVID-19 required a rapid response from education institutions with many traditional universities being forced to rapidly switch from classroom to online delivery modes. As universities round the globe shuttered their doors and went virtual, many brick-and-mortar schools were unprepared to pivot. within the us , for instance , 70 percent of college 




 Meanwhile, online institutions have already surmounted these challenges. Not only that, but schools that concentrate on remote learning can inherently deliver on their promise, while residential colleges and universities could to some extent still be finding their way for a short time yet.

The takeaway is there has been a learning curve for schools that online learning wasn't the norm, and lots of -- using temporary stopgaps rather than long-term solutions -- are struggling to deliver satisfying learning experiences for his or her students.
